Enjoy delicious home cooking, freshly baked cakes, and seasonal produce. Where possible, we use organic and / or locally sourced meat and, in summer, the vegetables are increasingly from our own garden. We also do our best to support artisan producers locally and in the surrounding area.
Laid back breakfast
- Continental breakfast: choice of tea or coffee; bread and jam; fruit juice.
- Mountain breakfast: choice of tea, coffee, herbal tea or hot chocolate; bread and jam; fresh fruit, yogurt, fruit juice and cereals; and a daily changing special (if it's a hot special, only available until 9am). Picnic lunches (summer only)
If you’re going off on a long walk or exploring the local area, take one of our picnic lunch bags with you. They include a sandwich, fresh fruit and a sweet treat.

Scrumptious tea & cake
Sit down to a lovely slice of homemade cake or mouthwatering biscuits either your room, in the garden, or in front of the fire in the sitting room. To wash it down, help yourself to tea, organic herbal teas or coffee from the complimentary hot drinks tray in your room (guests who book direct only).

Mountain platters (summer only)
If you're arriving late, or just fancy a simple evening meal, try one of our cheese and charcuterie mountain platters for two people. The platter features a selection of dried meats and cheeses (including unpasteurised goat and cow's milk cheeses) from the local area and surrounding region. It's served with crusty bread and pickles. We can either bring the platter to your room for you to eat on your balcony or terrace, or you can enjoy it at a table in the garden. Why not wash it down with a nice bottle of wine, just ask to see the wine list.

Delicious 3 course evening meals
Six evenings a week, we prepare a tasty home-cooked three course dinner, served outside on the terrace in summer if the weather is fine. Dinner is usually at around 7.30-8pm and is a set menu.
We use organic, free range and / or locally sourced meat where possible, and support artisan producers when we can. In summer, most of our vegetables come from our own organic garden and we use our own fresh herbs for flavourings and infusions. Our French and Spanish house wines come from small traditional producers, and the Spanish wine is made with organic grapes. We also stock a small selection of unusual local wines if you want to try something different (ask to see the wine list).
Examples of the three-course set menu, served family-style around the large dining room table, includes dishes such as spinach and pea gnocchi with crispy sage and a burnt butter sauce; lemon and fennel risotto with crispy organic lardons; tartiflette with farmhouse reblouchon cheese. For pudding, try sticky toffee pudding and caramel sauce; home made fromage blanc and ginger ice cream with almond shortbread; or a selection of local cheeses.
We can also cater for vegetarians and people with food allergies, but we may charge a supplement to cover the extra preparation time required.
Dinner: 25 euros for 3 courses (hot drinks & wine extra) - 24 hours notice required and subject to availability. In winter, dinner is 35€ and includes wine and hot drinks.
Children under 16, 15 euros (2 course early children's supper, served at 6pm).
