Luxury Bed & Breakfast
We are open all year round. Our B&B rates are per room, per night and are inclusive of breakfast, VAT and tourist taxes if you book direct with us. There is a 3 night minimum stay for half board. There is a 2 night minimum stay for B&B bookings on Fridays & Saturdays (except last minute).

*These rooms are in the luxury annex on the top floor of the house, accessed by external steps
- All rooms are ensuite and most have WiFi reception
- Breakfast is 5-10€ per person, or included in the nightly rate if you book direct with us. It is served from 8am to 10am (9.30am in winter). A self-service early breakfast is also possible for walkers & cyclists
- Dinner is a set menu, 25€ per person (3 courses) or 35€ per person (3 courses + wine and hot drinks) and is served at around 8.00pm (6pm for children - see below). Children under 16, dinner 15€ (2 course early children's supper, served at 6pm). It is subject to availability and we require a minimum of 24 hours notice
- Check-in is between 5-7pm and check-out is by 10am – unless by prior arrangement
- Extra people/beds in a room are 50€ per person, per night (reduced for longer stays)
- Depending on the room, there may be 25-50% supplement per night for 1 night stays on weekends (Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays) and on room prices during peak weeks in winter and summer. Contact us for prices.
- Our winter courtesy shuttle service to the lifts and back in Montchavin-Les Coches is for half board guests only (minimum stay 3 nights), it operates in the morning and afternoon during set times
- For B&B guests, there is a free village shuttle during the summer & winter season to the lifts in Peisey Vallandry, the stop is about 100m from the house
Please note, during the winter and summer seasons you are looked after on a day to day basis by our team of very capable hosts. We manage the bookings and the overall running of the house.
10% discount for GR5 walkers (if you book direct)
If you are walking the GR5, we'll give you a 10% discount on your room price if you book direct with us and not through a 3rd party agent or site. Make sure you let us know before you book. Please note, to be eligible, you need to arrive and depart on foot. The discount applies to standard twin rooms only and is not applicable on a Friday or Saturday night.
Half-board (outside winter season)
We offer a special price of 75€pp per night for guests staying on a half-board basis for 3 nights or more outside the winter season (see below for winter prices). The price includes accommodation, breakfast and three course evening meal with wine and hot drinks each night.
For guests staying 7 nights outside the winter season, the special half-board price is 495€ pp (dinner 6 nights a week), except July and August (550€ pp).
Half-board / catered flexible ski chalet (winter)
During the winter season (14 December 2012 to 27 April 2013), we also offer catered and half-board ski holidays.
- 7 nights catered (dinner 6 nights): 550€ per person (200€ supplement for peak weeks)
- Half board (per night, minimum stay 3 nights): 85€ per person
- Bed & breakfast (as shown in table above) - B&B does not include use of our courtesy shuttle service to the lifts and back
Prices are per person based on a minimum of two people sharing a room, staying either in Maison Caramel or the luxury Alpine annexe. There's a minimum stay of 2 nights B&B.
The winter catered and half board price includes accommodation with breakfast and a three course evening meal with wine followed by tea, coffee or an organic herbal infusion (served every night except the hosts' night off, when guests are asked to eat out at their own expense). We also offer catered and half board guests use of our courtesy shuttle service to the lifts in Montchavin-Les Coches (winter only, subject to terms & conditions).

See the tabs to the side for holiday package and self-catering rates. Prices range from 250€ pp for a three night self-guided walking break to 550€ pp for a 7 night catered walking holiday in peak season.
Reservations and payments (summer)
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. For stays of 3 nights or less, the full amount is due on booking and is non-refundable. For longer stays, the balance is payable in full at least 4 weeks in advance of the holiday start date by credit card or bank transfer. In the event of cancellation 4 weeks or less before arrival, or stays that are curtailed following arrival, no refunds will be made. You are advised to take out suitable holiday cancellation insurance.
Additional services are payable in cash locally. The nearest cash machines are in Bourg St Maurice and Aime (7km).
We accept payment by cash, credit card (Visa or Mastercard), Cheques Vacances or bank transfer.

Further details
Most of the rooms have feather duvets and pillows (tell us if you have an allergy), and all rooms have guest robes, tea & coffee facilities, hair dryers and towels. Guests also have use of the sauna, sitting room and garden terraces (summer only).
Maison Caramel and the penthouse annex are no smoking, but you can smoke outside in the garden or on the balcony of your room.
Children
Children are welcome, especially if they are quiet, well-behaved and happy to eat home-cooked food. The farmhouse has lots of staircases and unprotected log stoves, so it may not be very suitable for babies or young children as a result.
Children aged up to 16 are charged at 75% of the adult catered or half board price if they share a room with 2 or more adults on a shared chalet occupancy basis, otherwise it's full price. We do not provide booster seats, cots or high chairs.
Please note, we serve an early kids' supper at around 6pm so that the adults can enjoy dinner together alone later. We do not have an outdoor play area, indoor games room, computer, play station, satellite television, WII or any other modern entertainments for children. Instead we offer direct access to fresh air, nature and the mountains.
Dogs
Dogs are allowed by pre-arrangement and subject to an additional charge of 10€ per night to cover additional cleaning requirements.

We have pet dogs. You may see them about the house and garden. Let us know before you come if you have a dog allergy and we'll keep them out of your way.
